Affiliated Clubs - Nominations for 2010 Nature Vet Volunteer of the Year are now open.
Dear ENSW Affiliated Clubs
As you are aware Equestrian NSW is promoting a program of volunteer recruitment, retention and recognition. As part of the recognition component of this initiative, Equestrian NSW is asking clubs to nominate volunteers for our Equestrian NSW 2010 Nature Vet Volunteer of the Year award, to be incorporated with Equestrian NSW Annual Awards held in February each year. I would ask that you fill in the attached nomination forms and return to Equestrian NSW no later than What is a Volunteer? A volunteer eligible for nomination must be someone who gives of their time freely to assist in the running of events or other activities for ENSW affiliated clubs or organising committees. People who are paid for their time or services are not considered volunteers – however this does not include reimbursement for costs incurred as part of their volunteer work. The Nomination Process Each discipline will acknowledge their volunteers annually. This means each year you may nominate one person from either your committee who volunteers their time or a person who is not on your committee but still volunteers for your club or event. A non-committee volunteer should also agree to be included on our volunteer database, managed by Equestrian NSW office. They are able to choose whether or not their contact Who Chooses the Winners? The selection subcommittee is made up of one representative of each of the six disciplines of Equestrian NSW, Equestrian NSW I look forward to receiving your nominations as soon as possible. You can either use the forms attached or access via the Equestrian NSW website at www.nsw.equestrian.org.au For further
